BULLET PROOF GLASSES
Temka Glass produces bullet proof glasses under EN1063 standarts.
Bullet proof laminate glass is the traditional “bullet proof glass”, crafted from layers of glass and resin, similar to a stack of modern car windshields.
Bullet-proof glasses protects individuals against firearm attacks: Generally a multilaminated assembly,contains thinner polycarbonate against non splitting of glass cracks.If it is required,layers of multilaminated assembly can be used tempered.The various classes according to EN1063 are determined by the type of weapon and immunition.
LAMINATED GLASS
Glass is a fragile material and standard float glass has low tolerance to impacts. By increasing thickness of the glass, tolerance for the impact will augment but will not eliminate risks caused by glass breakage.
Şişecam Laminated Glass is laminated safety and security glass of Şişecam Flat Glass. If the glass is broken, most of the fragments remain stuck to the interlayer, therefore minimizing the risks of injury caused by broken glass.
Şişecam Laminated Glass can produce with blue, green, gray, bronze, turquoise and dark gray tinted glass and offers options for architects and interior architects.

Bulletproof glasses are multi-layer laminating units manufactured according to the EN1063 standard and providing protection against armed attacks. Glass floors can be used as tempered if necessary. According to the NS class contained in the EN1063 standard, polycarbonate sheet is also produced with application to prevent the distribution of glass particles towards the inside.
Application
Bulletproof glasses are usually asymmetrical and are in the bulletproof class when applied in the correct position.
When the bulletproof multi-layer laminating unit is applied to the double glazing, the laminating unit should be located on the other side of the potential impact.
